The roots of the company formed in 1988, when John Ayres founded Coral Beach Hotels & Resorts. A talent for locating and acquiring hotels in prime locations, infusing them with capital, instituting top management, creating industry leading fiscal management and conducting international marketing, successfully resulted in the generation of significant incremental profits and increased asset values. Coral's ability to recognize hotels with potential and the company's skill at enhancing service levels and financial results became a powerful formula for growth.
In 1999 Ayres partnered with Lee Weeks and together they created the Coral Beach Club Company, a management company founded on their shared philosophy that clubs are hospitality venues which could benefit from the hotel industry's systems, service and procedures. Along with its growth of both developer owned and member clubs, Coral recognized the opportunity to marry the hotel company with its club affiliate and all management came together as Coral Hospitality. This move allowed the company to streamline its operations into a single management entity for hotels and clubs. In 2002 Coral expanded its portfolio to include residential community management, creating a new division within the company. In addition to managing master community associations, this move allowed Coral to focus on providing leading hospitality solutions to the growing condominium market, as well as condominium hotels and resorts. With its history in management of the finest properties in the world, in conjunction with its knowledge of association regulations and documents, Coral is able to apply its knowledge and experiences in providing exceptional lifestyle services and amenities at its managed communities.
