The Plantation Golf & Country Club’s Manager Receives Designation NAPLES, FL—January 27, 2009—James E. Mason, CCM, General Manager of The Plantation Golf & Country Club, which is managed by Coral Hospitality, achieved the designation of “Certified Club Manager” (CCM) with the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). “We are extremely proud of James for making this commitment to grow both personally and professionally, which ultimately provides a better member and customer experience. We are privileged to have James as a member or our Coral family,” stated Lee Weeks, CEO of Coral Hospitality. Mason was approved by the Certification Committee of CMAA after successfully passing a certification examination. He joins more than 1,400 club managers worldwide who have achieved this hallmark of professionalism. Mason qualified for the CCM examination as a result of fulfilling specific requirements in club management experience, education and association activity. The CCM examination contains nine subject areas including private club administration, sports and recreation management, managerial accounting, food and beverage operations and principles of management and marketing. James has over 15 years experience in country clubs with an additional 15 plus years with distinctive restaurants and banquet facilities. Prior to coming on board as General Manager of The Plantation Golf & Country Club, Mason was the General Manager at another Coral property, the Crown Colony Golf & Country Club in Ft. Myers.
