Beat the General Manager This Summer and Stay for Free at the Newly Opened Vero Beach Hotel & Club

VERO BEACH, FL (June 5th, 2007) – Can you beat Serena - at golf? Then sign up for the “Beat the GM” golf challenge and take your chances on winning a weekend getaway or special “scratch rate” at the Treasure Coast’s newest ocean-front luxury hotel.

You don’t need to be a “Tiger” golfer to play. From Saturday, June 2nd through Saturday, September 29th, the Vero Beach Hotel & Club’s General Manager, Peter Serena, will challenge amateur golfers to Saturday rounds at the exclusive Indian River Country Club course.

Players who beat Serena during the promotional period will be offered a “scratch rate”, a stay at the rate of their score per night. All “Beat the GM” challengers are responsible for their own green’s fees. At the end of the summer, the player with the lowest overall score (handicap included) wins a two-night, three-day stay at the Vero Beach Hotel & Club. Players who beat Serena can stay at the hotel using their “scratch rate” as many consecutive nights as they like through September 29th. To register or to learn more, visit the Vero Beach Hotel & Club website at www.verobeachhotelandclub.com or call 772.231.5666 and ask about the “Beat the GM” golf challenge.
