Detail:  Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort is looking for a dynamic, innovative Director of Food & Beverage for the opening of a exciting new resort in Hollywood, Florida. Margaritaville Hollywood Beach, as part of Coral Hospitality, is a uniquely situated beach resort offering 350 rooms/suites, 30,000 square-feet of combined conference and meeting facilities with outstanding dining/entertainment options and excellent airport access.We are looking for a strong candidate who has a minimum of 5 years previous experience in the management of restaurants, bars, banquets, kitchens, and catering sales, preferably in a Resort environment. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in both the Front and Back of the House Operations.In this role, the Director of Food & Beverage will oversee the day-to-day management of the branded F&B operations of the property with responsibility for leading all aspects of the branded operation, to include employee and guest satisfaction, financial performance, revenue generation, and delivering a satisfactory return on investment to ownership. The Director of Food & Beverage will also be responsible for successfully integrating the establishment of all set brand standards with the development of the brandís culture within all Food & Beverage outlets.This position will direct and organize the activities of the Banquet Department, as well as the property's restaurants and bars. The ultimate goal is to maintain/improve the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and to maximize revenue and profit. A proven history of providing superior guest service to all external and internal customers is required. Great career opportunity for the right person!Essential Functions:1. Clearly plan, direct, communicate, assign and delegate responsibility and authority for a successful F&B operation.2. Hire, train, develop and schedule all F&B and banquet staff, ensuring all service standards are consistently adhered to.3. Supervise all set-up and breakdown of all function rooms.4. Monitor cost controls of food, beverage, and labor.5. Enter data and update Micros. Ensure payroll is accurate and complete.6. Take responsibility for accurate and timely monthly inventory counts.7. Participate in Manager on Duty coverage, providing management coverage throughout the property and troubleshooting problems. Essential Skills:1. Ability to effectively deal with guest concerns, some of which will require high levels of tact and diplomacy.2. Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively, both in writing and in person.3. Knowledge of all applicable health, sanitation, and safety regulations.4.
